New Beginnings
John encourages us to look at how we minister and see the big picture of God's transformation. Every time we offer prayer we make a space for God to do what is on HIS heart for that person at that time. We are part of the new thing that God is doing - his rolling wave of goodness.
Why not use these questions to explore this topic further . . .
- As you reflect on your experience of offering prayer ministry, are there times when you have felt a certain weariness about it? How did that come about? What did you do about it?
- What occasions can you recall when you have seen God do something different from what was originally asked for in prayer?
- Have you seen people ‘give up’ seeking God’s healing? What did you do to help them? What was the outcome?
