Called by Name . . .

Rob suggested we might think about these questions:

• Am I over-concerned with things physical? Seeking perhaps to fill need and longing with material matters? (The physical world is God’s world and is important to God, but it can blind us to other aspects of what is to be fully-human and alive in Christ)

• Am I possessive about Jesus?!  Do I ‘hold-onto’ my Lord or share joy in His resurrection?

• Have I truly heard the love with which Jesus has called my name? If I have been called cruel names or my own name has been spoken with cruelty or harshly does Jesus use a different name when he calls me?
